Meet Tara

My approach combines my creative background in design with my passion for wildlife, allowing me to tell visual stories that are both intentional and authentic. I’m particularly drawn to the character and individuality of wildlife, from the smallest details to the unforgettable moments that unfold in the bush.

Beyond photography, I have a deep appreciation for conservation and the importance of protecting Africa’s wildlife for future generations. My work has included photographing and reporting on elephants, with images featured in the Letaba Elephant Museum, the Kruger Tuskers book and Africa Geographic’s Kruger Elephants: Giants of the Future edition.

For me, wildlife photography is more than taking a photograph - it’s about creating a connection between people and the wild, and hopefully inspiring them to care about what they see.
